We’re expanding our Volunteer Plus program in 2021 to allow more employees and nonprofits to participate. When Securian Financial employees and retirees volunteer 25 hours (previously 50 hours) with an eligible nonprofit organization, the Securian Financial Foundation will donate $250 (previously $100) to the nonprofit, up to $500 per employee/retiree per year.

  Benefiting organization: The Sanneh Foundation
Securian Financial donated 70 new laptops to support The Sanneh Foundation’s new Distanced Learning Hub and help ensure students had access to devices to participate in distance learning.
The St. Paul, Minnesota-based nonprofit organization promotes educational attainment among youth.
The generous donation of laptops by the Securian team has been a game changing gift for the families we serve, who otherwise would not have equitable opportunities for distance learning in their own homes due to a variety of circumstances.”

The Sanneh Foundation’s senior vice president of operations
